Roamy arrives in ENGLAND!!!....

The weather is pretty awful today, sleet and cold so we've decided to stay in by the fire.
Roamy slept until mid morning and greeted the day by having breakfast of tea along with hot buttered toast and Marmite.

Marmite was first made in 1902 in a town local to us Burton Upon Trent. The spread is a by-product of the yeast used in the brewing industry and its a matter of debate in Britain - you either love it or hate it. I'm pleased to report that little Roamy loves it :)

Mr Alessi lamenting on the fact that he has yet again run out of dental floss. Roamy lends a sympathetic ear but after a short while is far more interested in discussing the exciting and new adventures we have promised him over the next few weeks.

Following his Sunday Roast dinner (crispy roast potatoes, honey roast carrots & parsnips and steamed spring cabbage for Roamy) we all settle in by the fire for rest, relaxation and a good chance to get to know each other better.

Cheers! - Helen

  1. He looks very comfy there. I'm sure he'll enjoy his stay. Looking forward to further reports ;-)

(By the way, I'd be glad to have Roamy visiting us. I'm sure he'll enjoy to see the Northern part of the Netherlands.)
